Official WGCA Scholar All-American Release

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Ten student-athletes from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference were named 2017-18 All-American Scholars by The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) earlier in the week.
 
The Great Midwest contributed to strong numbers announced by the organization has 1,011 women’s collegiate golfers earned the prestigious honor.
 
The criteria for selection to the WGCA All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.
 
Findlay had five student-athletes on the list followed by two each from Ohio Dominican and Walsh while Malone had one. Tiffin, which recently joined the Great Midwest for full membership, placed five All-American Scholars during the past academic year.
