The defending conference tournament champion Chargers had the lone conference matchup in the past week with a five-point win at home against Ursuline.
Hillsdale heads into the break as winners of four of its last five and remains towards the top of the conference standings at 4-2 in league play. The Chargers improved to 5-6 overall in 2018-19.
Gray poured in a game-high 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting and sank six triples from beyond the arc. She also added eight rebounds, four steals, a blocked shot and one assist in 32 minutes on the floor.
Gray is now averaging 13 points per game while seeing a noticeable uptick in her percentages across the board once Hillsdale entered Great Midwest play.
This is Gray’s third career conference weekly honor after being tabbed for athlete of the week twice as a junior. She has been Hillsdale’s leading scorer in four games this season.
