INDIANAPOLIS – A pair of dual victories helped Findlay complete Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s & Women’s Swimming and Diving Athletes of the Week honors as announced Wednesday.
Men’s Athlete of the Week
Dalton Shevlin

Sophomore
Solon, OH (Solon HS)
Shevlin was a first team all-conference performer as a freshman, impressing in the 1 and 3-meter dives in the inaugural Great Midwest/Mountain East Championships.
Shevlin helped the Oilers win against Ohio Wesleyan and Ashland.
Against Ohio Wesleyan, the Oilers won 10 total events and Shevlin was credited with two victories on the diving platform. He won the 1-meter competition with a score of 317.78 and claimed the 3-meter win with a score of 295.05.
At Ashland, Shevlin swept both events again vs. the Eagles. His 1-meter total was 238.62 and he scored a 235.57 in the 3-meter height.
Women’s Athlete of the Week

The reigning Great Midwest Female Swimmer of the Year and NCAA All-American (400-medley relay) is off to a great start in her junior season.
Just like the men, Findlay’s nationally-ranked women (No. 23) beat both Ohio Wesleyan and Ashland over the past week of competition.
Cederholm won the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:09.55 and also raced on the winning 400-medley relay team that included two-time athlete of the week Kendra Polewski, Chris McFarland and Amanda Stiegal.
At home against Ohio Wesleyan, she won two different events, the 100-yard freestyle and 200-yard freestyle relay.
