Guard
Junior
Powell, OH (Olentangy Liberty HS/Nebraska-Omaha)
Fisher did a little bit of everything for Ohio Dominican as the Panthers went on the road to secure a pair of impressive regional victories at Northwood and Saginaw Valley State that went down to the wire.
The junior guard averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game as ODU improved to 3-2 getting ready for the conference schedule. She also made seven of her 14 tries from beyond the arc.
In back-to-back days, Ohio Dominican defeated the Timberwolves and Cardinals. Fisher was on the floor for 78 of a total 80 possible minutes.
She went the duration against Northwood with 17 points and was a rebound shy of a double-double. Fisher shot 6-of-11 from the field and was 3-for-5 from deep. She also had three assists and a steal.
With three seconds on the clock in crunch time against Saginaw Valley State, Fisher delivered the game-winning trey with her team trailing 70-69. Fisher led ODU in points, rebounds and assists in this one, delivering a monster game with 25 points, eight boards and six dimes.
Fisher knocked down four more triples in 38 minutes and was a perfect 5-for-5 on free throws in both games combined.
The rebound and assist totals vs. SVSU both represented career-high numbers for her.
Fisher heads into conference play as the league’s third-best scorer and the Great Midwest’s best long-range sniper (both percentage and attempts made per game).
