INDIANAPOLIS – Tiffin became the third different Great Midwest Athletic Conference program this season to make the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Top-25 Poll as announced on Monday afternoon.

Tiffin is one of 14 unbeaten programs across Division II in this week’s poll after the Dragons beat Malone in their Week 6 matchup at Frost-Kalnow Stadium, 38-21.

Tiffin is 6-0 overall out of the gates and trails Hillsdale by a half game in the conference standings with a 3-0 record.

The perfect season started with non-conference wins against Northwood and Mercyhurst (Super Region 1) before going on the road for back-to-back conference victories against Alderson Broaddus and Walsh.

The Dragons stepped out of the league schedule again for Week 5 by beating their former GLIAC foe Wayne State. Tiffin’s defensive unit is only giving up a shade over 20 points per game and the secondary is responsible for 10 interceptions.

Tiffin is currently ranked third in the Great Midwest in all of total rushing offense, passing offense, rushing defense and pass defense.

The Dragons will put their six-game win streak on the line against Kentucky Wesleyan in Week 7 before hosting Ohio Dominican in Week 8. Hillsdale and Findlay also remain on the regular-season schedule to close out the year.

Ohio Dominican and Hillsdale are both receiving votes from the AFCA in this week's poll.

Findlay and Ohio Dominican both were also in the AFCA top-25 preseason rankings and in the regular season to start the year.
