INDIANAPOLIS – The postseason is underway as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Players of the Week honors were announced for the final week of the regular season and tournament quarterfinals.
 
The final four of the Great Midwest Championship bracket are gearing up to assemble in Tiffin for the semifinals (Thursday) and title game (Saturday.)
 
No. 1 seed/regular-season champion Tiffin will be joined by No. 2 Cedarville, No. 3 Ohio Valley and No. 5 Lake Erie. Lake Erie defeated No. 4 Ohio Dominican and Ohio Valley toppled No. 6 Alderson Broaddus in Saturday’s games.
 
Tiffin and Cedarville each rested and were idle by virtue of their first-round byes as the top two seeds in the conference tournament.

Hasenstab adds another dangerous element to an already explosive offense that has been Abdoul Magid Sy and Ramiesh McKnight already collect conference weekly honors.
 
The Dragons put the finishing touches on their regular-season championship run with a win over Findlay and the program made a statement after being polled third in the preseason rankings.
 
Now, Tiffin is regionally ranked (No. 3) and looking to make the NCAA Championship Midwest Regional with either an AQ or at-large selection.
 
Hasenstab was a one-man wrecking crew against Findlay, recording a hat trick in the first half as the Dragons eventually won 4-0.
 
He was instrumental in helping Tiffin to its 13th win of the season with goals in the 8th, 34th and 43rd minutes of regulation.

Leon recorded a pair of shutouts in net, one to close out the regular season and the other help push the Fighting Scots into the semifinal round of the conference tournament.
 
He is the second OVU keeper to receive defensive weekly honors, joining senior Jorge Bravo from earlier in the season.
 
Leon played all possible 180 minutes as the offense gave him support with a pair of 2-0 finals.
 
On the road at Davis & Elkins, Leon stopped three shots for saves and in Charleston for the playoffs, the sophomore made one save in the shutout effort.
 
Ohio Valley is currently ranked fourth in the NCAA Midwest Region rankings.
