INDIANAPOLIS –
League-wide, the Great Midwest Athletic Conference schedule is underway this weekend as the championship chase for all eight institutions moves forward.

Ohio Dominican and Findlay pitched shutouts with respective dominant defensive displays in Week 4.

The Panthers (1-3) earned their first win of the season with a 51-0 blitzing against Lake Erie while the Oilers (3-1) set the single-conference team conference scoring record for the second week in a row, this time against Tuskegee with a 61-point outburst.

Alderson Broaddus and Hillsdale both went down to the final possession in close defeats against Glenville State and 14th-ranked Indianapolis.

Malone’s offense had some big plays against Missouri S&T while Walsh had a tough go on the road at Central Connecticut State despite a 65-yard dash from Kalvin Gordon, one of a few 50+ yard plays from him this season.

In Week 5, Lake Erie (0-4, 0-1 G-MAC) hosts 2016 Great Midwest champion Alderson Broaddus (1-3), Findlay travels to play Walsh (0-4), Hillsdale (2-2) makes its league debut against Kentucky Wesleyan (1-2) and Ohio Dominican seeks a 2-0 league start in Canton at the Hall of Fame Stadium against Malone (0-3).

Home conference games can be viewed streaming live or on demand on the Great Midwest Digital Network from OTT apps on android TV, Roku, Apple TV and Amazon Fire Stick. Fans just need to search for the key words “Great Midwest.”
