INDIANAPOLIS – All eight teams are back in action for Week 3 as the Great Midwest Athletic Conference looks to establish itself against a new batch of opponents for the upcoming weekend.
Hillsdale (2-0) is the lone unbeaten in the league after beating Mercyhurst and Michigan Tech in consecutive weeks. The Chargers stormed back from a 17-point second-half deficit against the Huskies in Week 2 and had four total touchdowns on the ground, including two from David Graham and quarterback Chance Stewart.
Five teams are looking to bounce back from tough Week 2 defeats. Alderson Broaddus returns home to host Lincoln while Ohio Dominican has an intriguing matchup against Division I Ivy League champion Penn in the Quakers’ season opener.
Malone returns from being idle to travel to Shaw. Walsh and Jacksonville are now scheduled to kick off at noon ET after originally being slated to get underway at 1 p.m. Lake Erie will host Urbana and Kentucky Wesleyan, winners against Livingstone last week, faces in-state opponent Kentucky State from the SIAC.
The GLVC’s William Jewell and McKendree will match up against Great Midwest competition in Findlay and Hillsdale.
Alderson Broaddus, Hillsdale and Lake Erie, will stream their games on the Great Midwest Digital Network. OTT apps are also available on Roku and Apple TV by searching for “Great Midwest” on screen.
