INDIANAPOLIS – Ohio Valley junior Evette Booker was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week on Monday.
 
The Fighting Scots competed in the UPike Spring Invite in Prestonburg, Ky., this past Saturday and Sunday, finishing sixth out of nine teams in the tournament.
 
Booker did her part for the Fighting Scots in the two-day tournament. Day one resulted in a score of 77, one of the top 10 rounds of 18 holes around the league this year.
 
She finished in a tie for 10th place overall while closing with a two-day total of 164.
