INDIANAPOLIS - Trevecca Nazarene sophomore Bailey Alexander and freshman Raygn Hall were named Great Midwest Athletic Conference Softball Players of the Week on Monday.
Hall was named the G-MAC Pitcher of the Week and Alexander was tabbed G-MAC Player of the Week after inclement weather ruined a number of non-conference contests around the league.
The Trojans played a doubleheader against Lincoln Memorial, continuing to get ready to prepare for a run at the program’s fifth consecutive conference title in as many years.
Alexander collected a combined three hits in five plate appearances, including a double and her third run batted in of the season.
This season, Alexander is hitting .300 with 12 hits in 40 at-bats.
Hall was the tough beneficiary of no run support against the Railsplitters, but still turned in a dazzling effort in the circle.
She went six strong innings while giving up just the one run and struck out five.
Hall has a 2-7 overall record in eight games started with a 3.30 ERA. She has appeared in 13 total games and has 22 strikeouts in over 46 innings pitched.
