Kentucky Wesleyan’s Bosley Lands on D2CCA All-Midwest Region Team

INDIANAPOLIS – Kentucky Wesleyan seinor guard Ken-Jah Bosley capped off his collegiate career by being named to the Division II Conference Commissioners Association All-Midwest Region Second Team in a vote by the Division II Sports Information Directors Association. 
 
This marks the first Midwest All-Region Team selection for the four-time All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference team member. He finished his accomplished career as the league’s all-time leading scorer and the only player in conference history to score 2,000 or more points.

Bosley scored a career-high 577 points this season, averaging 18.6 per game, and earned a start in all 31 games, averaging 31.5 minutes per contest. 

Bosley led the Panthers to a historic 2016-17 season, setting a single season record with 26 straight wins which was the second-longest streak across all of the NCAA this season.

KWC advanced to the NCAA Division II Championship for the second straight year and earned a No. 4 seed in the eight-team Midwest Region bracket.  

The back-to-back G-MAC champions also boast a home-game winning streak of 48 which they will look to protect next season. The Panthers were nationally ranked for the final eight weeks of the season, finishing at No. 5 in the NABC Top-25 Poll for their highest mark since Jan. 22, 2013 when they came in at No. 3.

Bosley ranks as the conference’s top scorer (2,117 points) and is first in field goals made (643), field goal attempts (1,359), three-point field goals made (234), free throws made (597), and games played (123).

He additionally goes down among the best in assists (third – 279), steals (third – 136), and free-throw percentage (.844).
