INDIANAPOLIS – Alderson Broaddus junior Randee Seevers was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Golf Athlete of the Week on Monday.
 
This represents her first career conference weekly honor as the Battlers hosted a five-team spring tournament out in South Carolina.
 
The junior from Marietta, Ohio, continued her strong play that really goes back to the fall season as she posted three consecutive top-10 finishes transitioning into the spring season.
 
Seevers was runner-up at the Ohio Valley Fall Classic, sixth at the inaugural Great Midwest Fall Invitational and 10th at the Woodridge Open.
 
This time, she finished 11th at the AB Women’s Beach Break with a two-day total of 178 (88-90). Seevers was the top finisher for the Battlers.
 
Seevers’ scoring average through 10 rounds currently stands at 86.50, ranking fourth among all players in the conference so far.
