INDIANAPOLIS – For the third time this season, Kentucky Wesleyan senior guard Jordan Jacks was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Athlete of the Week.

The 13th-ranked Panthers’ historic streak continued this week with 22 consecutive wins through the end of last week. KWC is also ranked fourth in the NCAA DII Midwest Region rankings.

Jacks made history as he recorded the G-MAC’s first triple-double in the league’s five-year history against Ohio Valley.

On the week, he averaged 17.5 points, 10 rebounds, five assists and three steals per game, while shooting an even 50 percent from the field.

KWC had already wrapped up the top seed in the G-MAC Championship bracket and will be looking to get back to the NCAA DII Championship Midwest Regional for the second consecutive year.

Jacks and the Panthers overcame a slight halftime deficit against Cedarville and scored 17 points in 33 minutes. He pulled in 10 rebounds and had four steals.

Jacks produced his triple-double on Saturday as the Panthers cruised against the Fighting Scots. His stat line included 18 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.
