NABC Top-25 National Poll (Jan. 24)
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Kentucky Wesleyan College men's basketball team has jumped up six slots in the new National Association of Basketball Coaches poll as announced on Tuesday. The Panthers were recently ranked No. 23 in the last coaches poll.
Kentucky Wesleyan went 2-0 last week with convincing victories over Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus. Kentucky Wesleyan has won 14 straight games, and is also boasting a 41-home game winning streak.
The Panthers will travel to Oakland City on Wednesday and will take on Trevecca Nazarene at home on Saturday back in Great Midwest Athletic Conference action.
Senior forward Jordan Jacks received G-MAC Men's Basketball Athlete Of The Week honors on Monday for the second time this season. Jacks averaged a double-double of 18 points and 10 rebounds in the two Panther wins last week.
