GREENWOOD, Ind. - Less than 100 miles separate two opponents for what should be a fierce, in-state clash to kick off week four of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference football schedule on Thursday evening.
Alderson Broaddus plays host to Fairmont State under the lights in a contest that will be streamed live on ESPN3 on the Watch ESPN app online.
Additionally, Kentucky Wesleyan is aiming to break through in the win column against UIndy on Saturday while Malone travels to face FCS opponent Robert Morris in Pennsylvania to cap off the weekend.

The Battlers are bracing for an in-state clash for bragging rights against an unbeaten Fairmont State program that will be in the national spotlight on ESPN3 on the Watch ESPN app.
AB thrashed the University of Faith (FL) in a non-countable contest in Week 3 and will be looking to topple the Falcons with plenty of eyes watching. The Battlers have beaten Robert Morris and dropped a Week 2 matchup against Saint Joseph's (IN) at this point in the schedule.
This will be the first time the two opponents have gone head-to-head despite the close proximity. Even though it will be their first meeting, a lot is on the line for both programs.
Senior linebacker Justin Joyce was the Week 2 G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week and defensive lineman Brandon Lavern earned those honors in Week 1. The Battlers will be trying to contain a Fairmont State offense that relies on a balanced attack.
AB's swarming defense has limited opponents to an average of under 200 yards of total offense and will try to force more turnovers tonight.
FSU running back Terrell Charles has rushed or over 300 yards and scored four touchdowns while quarterback Cooper Hibbs has thrown five scores - four of those to wideout Fabian Guerra.

Both Kentucky Wesleyan and visiting Indianapolis are in search of their first victory of the season, coming in at an equal 0-3.
KWC's most recent setback was on the road against Davenport in Week 3. Despite a late touchdown generated on a blocked field goal try in part by G-MAC Special Teams Player of the Week Colton Billups, the Panthers unfortunately found points hard to come by.
Billups has been an impact player this year with having recorded an interception and returning the blocked field goal by Tim Patterson 85 yards to score. But versatile quarterback DaMarcus Smith was picked off three times against Davenport and sacked four more times to contribute to stalled drives by the offense.
Week 2 G-MAC Player of the Week Keelan Cole found the going tough against the Panthers' secondary with just two receptions.
Kentucky Wesleyan's schedule has been tough against the likes of Delta State and Davidson and the road doesn't get any easier against the Greyhounds.
UIndy's 0-3 start has been courtesy of incoming G-MAC member Hillsdale in Week 1, Marian in Week 2 and Southwest Baptist in Week 3. The Greyhounds have been putting up points, just not enough in several high-scoring affairs.
Malone (1-2) vs. Robert Morris (0-3)

Malone ventures to a familiar opponent after Alderson Broaddus beat the Division I FCS Colonials in a Week 1 showdown.
Robert Morris comes in at 0-3 following losses against AB, Youngstown State and Dayton, while Malone is trying to get back on the winning track after falling to Truman State and Notre Dame (OH) the past two weeks.
Junior running back Matt Blasiole continues to churn out yards in the ground game at a conference-leading pace. His 75-yard run on the first play from scrimmage against Notre Dame got Malone off to a flying start.
Quarterback John Iacucci also has excelled as the starter and has been more than efficient through the air with his numbers of total offense. He continues to develop a rapport with receivers Ashton Dulin and Alex Stotts and their numbers in Week 3 were the best of the season so far.
Reigning G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week JC Pawlyk was flying all over the field with 13 tackles, two for a loss and a forced fumble against the Falcons. Malone's defense boasts the top three tacklers in the G-MAC this season.
