GREENWOOD, Ind. - A sweep for Davis & Elkins was announced in the third wave of Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Players of the Week on Monday.

Opponents are officially being put on notice: the offensive dynamo Giantsopoulos is starting to round into form as she finished with five points in two key Davis & Elkins victories.
After starting out the season 0-3 against high-caliber opponents, the Senators earned two straight wins in the conference standings last week, topping Ohio Valley, 1-0, and Cedarville, 3-1.
Giantsopoulos' header scored the lone goal against OVU for her second goal of the season. While facing Cedarville, Giantsopoulos tallied her third goal of the season, which also tied up the game. She also had one assist against Cedarville.
Giantsopoulos exploded on to the college scene as a freshman, leading NCAA Division II in a number offensive categories. She is the reigning G-MAC Offensive Player and Freshman of the Year.
In less than two years, Giantsopoulos ranks tied for fifth in points (77), fourth in goals (32) is tied for ninth in assists (13), in G-MAC history.

Hill anchored a pair of conference wins as Davis & Elkins beat Ohio Valley, 1-0, and Cedarville, 3-1. The shutout win over OVU was Hill's first clean sheet of the season.
Hill has been in net all season for the Senators, and has faced 58 shots, while only allowing nine goals. In the last two games she saw 15 shots and allowed one goal.
Hill made a total of eight saves in the two D&E wins.
The Senators next matchup will be on the road against a strong Kentucky Wesleyan (2-2-1, 2-0-1 G-MAC) program on Sept. 22.
