Partnership provides an innovative technology platform for promoting the successes of teams and individual student-athletes.
GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) has announced a formal partnership with Statzhub, a Cincinnati-based digital technology company that provides a one-stop shop for sports content from every level of competition.
The subscription-based model allows subscribers to customize their sports content according to their favorite teams and student-athletes through online delivery and a mobile phone application.
“What makes Statzhub unique is that in addition to allowing our subscribers to follow their favorite high school, college and pro teams, and also individual professional and student-athletes, we are committed to producing and delivering content to allow passionate fans the ability to track news, stories and statistics,” states George Thurner, president and founder of Statzhub. “We are trying to fill the needs of family, friends and alumni to keep them updated on their favorite college teams and students-athletes from all three NCAA divisions and cover all sports.”
Beyond the website and mobile app, Statzhub has committed to share a portion of subscription revenues with the G-MAC and its participating member schools. Individual subscribers can select from a list of affiliated schools to designate as the beneficiary of their subscription.
“Statzhub is a fantastic information tool that will provide G-MAC fans comprehensive coverage of their favorite teams and players,” said G-MAC Commissioner Tom Daeger. “The opportunity to find information on our institutions this quickly is a great avenue for the growth of our emerging conference.”
The G-MAC and Statzhub will formally launch the partnership this spring and continue to develop their relationship into the fall with the start of the new athletic calendar year.
Fans can begin to subscribe and follow their favorite teams right away with content currently available. Over the next several months, the league will be testing out additional features that can be added for fans of the G-MAC and its member institutions.
Statzhub will also serve as the official sponsor for all G-MAC Championship broadcasts that are streamed online at G-MACSports.com.
“We are excited about the partnership with StatzHub and look forward to growing together over the next several years,” added Daeger. “As the G-MAC grows to 13 members over the next two years, the corporate support Statzhub provides in this partnership will also augment the ability of the Conference to enhance our student-athletes’ experiences.”

About Statzhub
The inspiration for Statzhub came from a dad who wanted to follow his daughter playing college lacrosse. What should have been a simple search proved to be complex and time consuming as he had to gather information from over 13 different sites to find all of the content on his daughter. After assembling all of this content and spending hours compiling those stats and content to help her see how she stacked up against other athletes in her sport (1v1 feature), he realized how beneficial gathering all of this content by athlete or team would be to any fan. And the idea for Statzhub was formulated.
At
www.statzhub.com, the company gathers the latest from reporters, team pages, conference sites, news outlets, social media and other fans to make the sports news you want available in real time in one arena.
