GREENWOOD, Ind. – Trevecca Nazarene junior distance runner Logan Rodgers was named the third Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for 2016 on Monday.

Rodgers and the Trojans continued their outdoor campaign as the team split to participate in two different meets this past weekend.

Rodgers and two other members headed to North Carolina State University to participate in the Raleigh Relays while the rest of the team competed at the Vanderbilt University Black and Gold meet.

Several of the TNU men set various PR’s including Rodgers in his 10,000 meter run which led him to become an NCAA provisional qualifier again.

Rodgers competed at the 2016 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships as a 10K qualifier in Pittsburg, Kan.

Rodgers led the TNU pack in the 10,000-meter distance with a time of 30:04.91. He beat out various Division I runners in his section and finished 30th overall in the race televised on ESPN3.
