GREENWOOD, Ind. – Kentucky Wesleyan freshman sprinter James Glenn was named the second Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athlete of the Week for 2016 on Monday.
Glenn and the Panthers debuted the new outdoor campaign as they combined to set several new school records at the Emory Invitational in Atlanta.
The KWC men’s and women’s teams teamed up to break a total 13 records.
Glenn led KWC in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.27 and recorded a 22.97 time in the 200-meter dash.
Glenn, along with teammates Logan Ayer, Seth Burnette and Bryant Qualls, combined to run the distance medley relay in a new school-record time of 11:00.17.
His busy day continued as a member of the school record-breaking 4x100-meter relay unit with Demetrius Frazier, Martavius Carter and Nathan Jones. They ran a 43.45 on the track.
