INDIANAPOLIS - On the heels of the program's second tournament title, Davis & Elkins claimed the final pair of Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Athletes of the Week as announced on Monday.

As the No. 4 seed, the Senators (10-9-0) will carry the G-MAC second-ever NCAA Championship appearance into the Midwest Regional.

D&E received the automatic qualifier after winning three straight postseason games in the conference tournament bracket that culminated on Saturday in the finals.

G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week
Kaitlyn Buoni
Davis & Elkins College
Senior
Midfielder
Washington Township, NJ

Buoni, the lone senior on the entire Davis & Elkins roster, delivered game-winning heroics against Ursuline with the decisive goal to break a 1-1 tie.

Buoni collected a loose ball following a corner kick and rifled a shot on the right side of the field from a difficult angle to score in the 54th minute.

Buoni was the appropriate Senator to receive the trophy during the awards ceremony before the celebration got underway.

Her rock-steady play in the middle of the field helped fortify the defense and ignite the offense as a leader. She helped D&E to its first NCAA Championship Midwest Regional appearance.

G-MAC Defensive Player of the Week
Lauren Hill
Davis & Elkins College
Sophomore
Goalkeeper
Massapequa Park, NY

Hill was selected for conference weekly defensive honors for the second time this season and made her presence on the pitch known as D&E went 3-0 in the tourney bracket.

Hill pitched back-to-back shutouts against No. 5 Kentucky Wesleyan and No. 1 Trevecca Nazarene before limiting No. 2 Ursuline in the championship game.

Hill made some critical stops in every contest, including multiple breakaways. Even though the box score shows one save per stop, there's no doubt Hill robbed potential goals away from D&E opponents.
