INDIANAPOLIS - Ohio Valley junior goalkeeper Carlos Rubio and Trevecca Nazarene sophomore forward Nicolas Reinhard earned Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week honors on Monday.
Both helped their respective teams to a pair of wins as the first half of the conference schedule officially came to a close.

Reinhard accumulated six points in just two games as the Trojans went unbeaten against Shorter and Kentucky Wesleyan over the past week
Reinhard delivered the game-winning goal against KWC and added two assists on TNU's first and finals goals of the contest by Danny Martinez and Victor Tsado.
The 2015 G-MAC All-Freshman Team member found the net before the end of the first half to break a 1-1 tie in Owensboro on the road.
He also opened up the scoring against Shorter in non-conference action earlier in the week with a goal in the 43rd minute. The Trojans would win by a 3-2 final.
As a result, Reinhard has emerged as the current G-MAC league leader in points with 14 (5 G, 4 A) and points per game (1.40). He's tied for first in total goals and is second in assists.

Rubio pitched a pair of shutouts to retain the Fighting Scots' hold on first place in the updated conference standings.
The most important outcome came against three-time defending conference champion Cedarville as Ohio Valley capitalized on a penalty kick midway through the second half.
Rubio made one save in the defensive effort against the Yellow Jackets and made five stops in another 1-0 final against Mercyhurst earlier in the week.
Rubio leads the G-MAC with five shutouts this season and save percentage.
