INDIANAPOLIS
– The 2015 tournament finalists, Cedarville and Alderson Broaddus, both advanced into the semifinal round of the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Championship.

The No. 3-seeded Yellow Jackets beat No. 6 Kentucky Wesleyan in the early game, 4-1, while No. 4 Alderson Broaddus eliminated No. 5 Trevecca Nazarene, 2-0.

The favored seeds prevailed at their respective campuses and will now travel to Elkins, WV, for the semifinals next Thursday at Davis & Elkins College.

The bracket is still set up for Alderson Broaddus and Cedarville to meet in this year’s final, but both programs find themselves in unfamiliar territory as not necessarily the favorite as determined by seed.

Cedarville and Alderson Broaddus tied in the 2015 G-MAC Championship final and the Yellow Jackets emerged by virtue of PK’s.
