INDIANAPOLIS - Trevecca Nazarene senior outside hitter/middle blocker Katelyn Atkinson was named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Volleyball Athlete of the Week for the second time this season on Monday.

This marks the seventh career selection for conference weekly honors in Atkinson's decorated tenure as a Trojan.

Trevecca Nazarene rolled through the conference schedule again this week and remain unbeaten at 7-0 following victories against Alderson Broaddus and Davis & Elkins.

In a pair of Trojan sweeps, Atkinson averaged 3.67 kills per set and just as many digs per frame.

She had nine kills and 13 digs against Alderson Broaddus while coming up with 13 kills and nine digs against Davis & Elkins.

Atkinson is averaging 3.49 kills per set in 87 total sets played this season.
