INDIANAPOLIS - Cedarville senior Joel Twinem and Kentucky Wesleyan senior Blake Cobb were named Great Midwest Athletic Conference Athletes of the Week on Monday.
Both seniors were instrumental in helping their respective programs continue to finish the regular season strong while getting ready for the postseason.
Cedarville and Kentucky Wesleyan have each clinched a spot in the six-team G-MAC Championship.

Twinem celebrated Senior Day in style with a pair of assists as Cedarville outlasted Mercyhurst in overtime.
The Yellow Jackets reeled off a 3-0 week, including two conference wins, both on the road at Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene.
Twinem scored in the ninth minute of regulation against Kentucky Wesleyan and Cedarville improved its record to 9-6-2 overall and 7-3-1 in the league.
The Yellow Jackets conclude the regular season at Ohio Valley before embarking on another title defense of its G-MAC Championship tournament crown.

Cobb and the Panthers slowed down a tough Ohio Valley program to officially punch their ticket into the postseason.
In a 2-1 victory, KWC gained enough separation against Malone in the league standings.
After a one-year absence from the conference tournament, the Panthers will be looking finish the regular season strong tomorrow against Trevecca Nazarene on the road.
