INDIANAPOLIS - The eighth week of the season saw some familiar faces repeat as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week as announced by the league on Monday.
Malone's Matt Blasiole and Marcus Moeller were both selected again for the third time this year while Alderson Broaddus' defensive reign continued with another different student-athlete being picked.

Blasiole got it done on the ground and in the passing game with 235 total yards amassed against rival Walsh on Saturday night.
He carried the ball 29 times for 170 yards and a pair of touchdowns as Malone battled until the end against a future G-MAC member institution. Blasiole also had a 62-yard catch and run in the passing game.
Blasiole scored from seven yards out with 6:06 in the second quarter and dashed for a 53-yard touchdown run early in the third quarter.
Blasiole earned his third weekly conference offensive honor after also being selected in Week 1 and Week 3 of the current season.

From Michael James to Deanerius Wilson and now to Lee, the Battlers' secondary has made its presence felt all year and Saturday's win vs. Georgetown (KY) was no different.
Lee picked off a pair of passes against Georgetown in the first quarter and third quarter. He was also credited with a pass breakup.
AB locked down Georgetown for under 100 yards of total offense and forced the passing game in a 7-for-23 line with Lee's two interceptions.
It represents the sixth time in eight weeks an Alderson Broaddus student-athlete has received conference defensive weekly honors.

Moeller, another three-time conference weekly award recipient, connected on a career-high three field goals on Saturday night vs. Walsh.
He made a pair of 23-yarders in the first half before drilling a career-long 47-yarder in the 4th quarter. The 47-yard kick tied for the 5th longest in Malone history and was the longest in the G-MAC this season.
The Denmark native is 10-of-12 on field goal attempts this year. His .833 field goal percentage is tied for 9th-best in NCAA DII.
