INDIANAPOLIS - Three more talented student-athletes around the the league were selected as Great Midwest Athletic Conference Football Players of the Week as the seventh week of the season came to a close.

Alderson Broaddus was victorious in a Thursday-night game against Glenville State and claimed two of the three positional weekly honors. Kentucky Wesleyan held its own against No. 21 UNC Pembroke and Malone throttled Haywood (TN) in a non-countable contest at home.

For the fourth time this year, Cole has picked for weekly honors by the league office. He is now a three-time G-MAC Offensive Player of the Week and a one-time G-MAC Special Teams Player of the Week.

This time, Cole gashed the UNC Pembroke secondary for 149 yards on seven catches along with his eighth touchdown of the season.

Cole's 42-yard scoring grab in the third quarter gave KWC a 20-19 lead as the Panthers worked hard to chip away at a 16-point first-half deficit. He also had 74 yards on returns and with two more 40 yard catches, is now averaging over 22 yards per reception on the year.

In seven games, Cole has 37 catches for 837 yards and eight touchdowns.

Wilson as an integral part of another defensive show, this time at the expense of Glenville State on Thursday night.

Wilson had six total tackles and was credited with one of the Battlers' three interceptions on the night.

He also broke up three pass attempts as the AB secondary kept the Glenville State receiving corps in check.

Noon set a single-game conference record with a punt of 63 yards and averaged over 41 yards per attempt.

Noon helped pin Glenville State on its own side of the field throughout the game with eight total punts. This is the third consecutive special teams conference weekly honor for Alderson Broaddus.
