GREENWOOD, Ind. – Ursuline sophomore forward Camryn Hill was named the eighth Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week for 2015-16 on Monday.
This marks the third weekly conference honor in 2015-16 for Hill in addition to being selected the
United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) Player of the Week earlier this year.
Hill was a force along the front line once again for the Arrows as they won three consecutive conference contests -- including two on the road.
Hill carved out three consecutive double-doubles (points/rebounds) on the interior as Ursuline upped its season record to 13-2 overall and 3-1 in the G-MAC.
Ursuline started a busy week with a home win against Trevecca Nazarene on Monday before finishing a West Virginia road swing with victories against Salem International on Thursday and Ohio Valley on Saturday.
The Arrows won all three games convincingly by 20 points or more.
Hill logged close to 100 minutes in all three contests combined, shooting 50 percent from the field (20-of-40) with averages of 16.7 points and 12 rebounds per game.
She also swatted three shots per game and continued to be an all-around player from long range, sinking seven more triples.
Hill erased four shots in back-to-back games vs. TNU and SIU. She rang up a 21-point, 10-rebound effort on 8-of-15 shooting against the Trojans on Monday.
She collected 11 rebounds in both remaining games and contributed 14 and 15 points, respectively. She made three of her four shots from beyond the arc vs. Ohio Valley.
Hill is currently second in the G-MAC in scoring (15.9 ppg), second in rebounding (10.1 rpg), fifth in field goal percentage (.533) and second in blocks (1.6 bpg). She is currently the league leader in three-point field goal percentage (.490).
