GREENWOOD, Ind. - Ursuline junior forward Cassie Cripe was named the third Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Athlete of the Week for the fall on Monday.
Cripe led the Arrows in a pivotal Thursday showdown against Davis & Elkins as Ursuline handed the Senators their first loss in the conference standings. She scored three times in the first half alone, completing the hat trick with about seven minutes left before the intermission.
Ursuline (5-1-1 overall) also improved to 4-0-0 in the G-MAC standings with a 1-0 shutout pitched against Alderson Broaddus.
Cripe has currently recorded 14 points in six games this fall. She has five goals, including two game-winners, along with four assists.
Ursuline will take a four-game win streak into this week against Kentucky Wesleyan and Trevecca Nazarene. The Arrows are in the midst of a five-game homestand.
