GREENWOOD, Ind. – The Great Midwest Athletic Conference recognized Trevecca Nazarene hurler Haley Fagan and Cedarville’s Nicole Davis with softball weekly honors as announced on Monday.
Fagan sustained her dominance inside the circle yet again while receiving her sixth G-MAC Pitcher of the Week nod. She secured three more wins and lowered her league-leading ERA even more to a miniscule 1.14 after pitching in four games this past week.
For Davis, the third baseman tallied double-digit runs scored and RBI totals while blasting four home runs to receive G-MAC Player of the Week status.
This is Davis’ first weekly conference honor of the regular season.

Helping the Trojans to a 20-1 conference record with a favorable ranking in the Midwest Region, Fagan was once again on top of her game and then some with the postseason right around the corner.
Compiling a 3-1 record on the week while being on the hook of a tough-luck one-run decision, Fagan racked up 29 strikeouts in 25 innings pitched.
Taking on non-conference in-state opponents Union and Christian Brothers, Fagan totaled 13 innings pitched with as many strikeouts. Against Davis & Elkins and Salem International in the G-MAC schedule, the righty threw two complete game shutouts, allowing just seven hits and three walks while striking out 16.
Fagan ends the regular season leading the G-MAC in ERA with 1.14, wins with 18, and shutouts with nine.
Trevecca Nazarene captured the G-MAC’s regular-season title, the No. 1 seed in the conference championship and will play No. 6 Salem International to start the bracket.

Collecting a hit in each of Cedarville’s six games this past week, Davis punished Urbana by hitting three home runs and driving in seven RBI. On the week, the senior corner infielder hit an impressive .474 with 10 RBI, 10 runs scored and six extra-base hits.
In the four-game conference series set against Alderson Broaddus, Davis went 4-for-11 with two doubles and a home run. She added three walks and a stolen base.
To end the regular season, Davis tied for first in the conference with 41 runs scored, wrapped up second in hits with 52, second in RBI with 39 was and second in walks with 22.
The third baseman leads her team into the G-MAC tournament as the No. 2 with a conference record of 14-6 and will play fifth-seeded Alderson Broaddus on Thursday.
