GREENWOOD, Ind. – Trevecca Nazarene's Haley Fagan and Davis & Elkins’ Taylor Norton were both recognized with Great Midwest Athletic Conference softball weekly honors as announced by the league on Monday.
For the second week in a row and fourth time on the season, Fagan’s performance in the circle has earned her the G-MAC Pitcher of the Week. Norton, a pitcher/first baseman for the Senators, is receiving the honor for the first time this season as a result of her showing at the plate spanning six games.
The Trojans remain undefeated in the conference standings at 12-0 and currently have a 22-5 overall record while marching with a 12-game win streak.
Davis & Elkins is creeping up in the standings at 9-2 in the G-MAC after taking three of four at Salem International this past week. The Senators sit at 16-13 overall on the season.

Fagan picked up another pair of wins in the circle this past weekend as the first-place Trojans swept Cedarville to remain unbeaten in the conference standings. She finished with 16 strikeouts spread out just over 14 innings and another perfect 0.00 ERA.
In the first game of the series, Fagan went the distance and only allowed no runs on three hits. She recorded nine strikeouts with no walks issued.
The next day, Fagan hurled another complete game shutout. She struck out six while scattering five hits against the Lady Jackets.
Fagan lowered her G-MAC leading ERA down to 1.31 and raised her season win total to 12.

Ranking among the conference leaders in several offensive categories, Norton paced the Senators in winning four of the team’s last six games.
Norton managed to score three times and drove in a pair of runs while drawing a walk in non-conference action against Glenville State.
Against Salem International, Norton was a combined 8-for-14 with five runs scored, four RBI, and a home run. She also added a double and triple in the series.
For the season, Norton is in the top five for the G-MAC in slugging percentage (.656), hits (36), RBI (26), doubles (12) and total bases (61).
