GREENWOOD, Ind. - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Benjamin Tuttle of Cedarville University and Anna Hoffman of Trevecca Nazarene University this week's Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week.

Benjamin Tuttle has been named the Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week after his performance at the Raleigh Relays at North Carolina State University.
In a field of division I athletes, Tuttle placed 18th in his heat of the 10,000m run, and managed to shave five seconds off the school record. His time of 29:47.09 established a new top mark in the conference this season and also was a minute lower than the NCAA Division II provisional standard time.
In setting a new school record, Tuttle established a new G-MAC record, surpassing his teammate Matt Brooker’s record time of 29:57.69 by over ten seconds.

Anna Hoffman has been named the Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Week after her quick performance at the Vanderbilt Black & Gold Invitational.
Hoffman, in a field of many division I athletes, finished 13th in the 800m race with a time of 2:15.90. She finished behind 10 division I runners from Illinois, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Bradley, Lipscomb, and Austin Peay.
Her time ranks second in the G-MAC this season and was just 2.57 seconds away from reaching the NCAA Division II provisional mark. She also established a new personal record with her finishing time and a TNU school record.
