GREENWOOD, Ind. – For the second time this spring, Ansley Brantley and Haley Fagan from Trevecca Nazarene have swept Great Midwest Athletic Conference softball weekly awards as announced on Monday.
 
As the G-MAC Player of the Week, Brantley was a disruptive offensive force with superb all-around numbers while the G-MAC Pitcher of the Week Fagan picked up a pair of winning decisions with high strikeout totals as the Trojans faced Cumberland and Midwest Region foe Malone.

Fagan improved to 4-1 in the circle this spring with wins against Cumberland and Malone this past week. She pitched a total of 12 innings and struck out 15 hitters while scattering a dozen hits and five runs with three walks issued.
 
In a shortened 10-2 Trevecca Nazarene triumph vs. Cumberland on Thursday, Fagan fanned nine in the complete-game effort. She yielded a pair of runs on five hits in six innings as the offense backed her with five runs through the first three frames.
 
During her second start of the week, Fagan started a Saturday twinbill with the win in another six-inning final. Fagan struck out six and gave up three runs on seven hits for her fourth winning decision this year.
 
On the season, Fagan has started five games and has a 2.62 ERA with 34 strikeouts in 32 innings pitched. She has went the distance in all five starts and has a pair of shutouts.
