GREENWOOD, Ind. - Kourtni Perry has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week following her performance against Salem International this past weekend.

Kourtni Perry has been named the G-MAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week after helping her team to a pair of conference wins, one of which was a career night for the junior.
 
After a four point and four rebound performances against Ohio Valley on Thursday on the road, Perry scored 30 points on 14-21 shooting from the floor in a dominating win against Salem International in Wilberforce.
 
Perry’s 25 rebounds established a new conference record, topping the previous record of 23, set last season by Kayla Parsely of Ohio Valley. Perry was tied with Amy Brooks of Ohio Valley  for the season high in rebounds with 17, which she accomplished against Cedarville earlier this year.
 
Her 30 points - 25 rebound game is the first 30-20 game in league history. The previous best was a 22 point, 21 rebound performance by Jorden Lykes of Davis and Elkins last season.
 
Perry now leads the league in rebounds with 8.8 per game and moved into the top-20 in scoring with 11.3 points per game. She is second in the conference with a 55.4% shooting percentage.
