GREENWOOD, Ind. – Four student-athletes from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference helped comprise the new Conference Commissioner’s Association (CCA) Division II All-Midwest Region Men’s Soccer Team unveiled Monday.

A total of 26 players from the G-MAC, Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) made up a first and second team.

The CCA Player of the Year award and all-region teams are nominated and selected through voting by the region’s sports information directors.

Both the 2015 G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year and Defensive Player of the Year made the distinguished list.

Cedarville’s Connor Gilmour was named to the CCA DII All-Midwest Region First Team while Alderson Broaddus stopper Alec Andall was voted to the second team.

Gilmour was one of three Yellow Jackets to make the All-Midwest Region Team along with teammates Zachary Harris (second team) and Joe Davison (second team).

The Yellow Jackets cashed in on the G-MAC’s first-ever NCAA Championship Midwest Region appearance with an at-large selection and won their opening round matchup against Quincy.

The 13 first team all-region players will now be placed on the national ballot for All-America consideration. The All-America teams will be released Wednesday, Dec. 3.
