10.28.15

INDIANAPOLIS – Cedarville and Alderson Broaddus continued to represent the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in the second Midwest Region Rankings published by the NCAA on Wednesday.

Teams from the G-MAC, Great Lakes Valley Conference and Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, are considered for the Midwest Region rankings.

Cedarville, the 2015 G-MAC regular-season champion, remains entrenched at No. 4 while Alderson Broaddus remained constant at No. 7 from the first set of rankings released last week.

Both teams are preparing for the postseason in the G-MAC Championship, where each received a first-round bye.

Cedarville claimed the top seed and home-field advantage throughout while the Battlers secured a No. 2 seeding.

The NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Championship does not have an automatic qualifier for the winner of conference tournaments.

The rankings are the official poll utilized by the NCAA in the championship selection process and will continue to be released each week by the NCAA Division II Men's and Women's Soccer Committees up to the NCAA Championship selections.
