GREENWOOD, Ind. – Cedarville senior midfielder Zachary Harris was named the sixth Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week for the fall on Monday.
 
Harris and the Yellow Jackets officially clinched the first of six postseason spots in the G-MAC Championship as Cedarville split two conference games in the past week.
 
Harris delivered the overtime heroics as Cedarville stunned No. 16 Alderson Broaddus in a Saturday-night affair.
 
His third goal of the season turned out to be a big one as the Yellow Jackets (9-3-1, 6-2-0 G-MAC) moved back into the driver’s seat at the top of the conference standings.
 
The Yellow Jackets evened up the regular-season series against the Battlers following Harris’ game-winning boot in the 95th minute.
 
Cedarville continues the conference slate this week on the road at Kentucky Wesleyan (Thursday) and at Trevecca Nazarene (Saturday).
