INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Trevecca senior Brooke Gann the conferences Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week following her performances in a pair of wins against Carson Newman and Kentucky Wesleyan.

Brooke Gann has been named the conferences Women’s Soccer Athlete of the Week for the first time this season, and her second time in her career, which came back on October 1, 2012. The two-time G-MAC All Conference selection helped carry TNU to a pair of wins this past week, including a win over Kentucky Wesleyan in conference.
The Trojans improved to 2-1 in conference behind the 3-0 win over KWC. Gann assisted on the game’s first goal by Diana Corzine in the 50th minute of the contest, she then capped the scoring in the 89th minute with an unassisted goal. In the first game of the week, Trevecca defeated Carson Newman 2-1, a game in which Gann scored the first goal of that contest, coming on an unassisted run.
Gann’s two goals this week were her 26th and 27th career goals, which makes her the career leader in Trevecca history is goals scored. She also moved into second in career points with five coming this week.
