GREENWOOD, Ind. - Ohio Valley University sophomore Alyx Henry was tabbed as the G-MAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week after playing a key role in contributing to Ohio Valley University’s recent success on the court.
 
The sophomore outside/right side helped the Fighting Scots string together four consecutive wins at the Cumberland University Tournament in Tennessee. OVU swept three of its four opponents and ceded just one set in all four matches.
 
Henry racked up 48 kills in 16 sets and chipped in 36 digs and 13 more service aces, effectively filling up the box score from several statistical categories. She hit .474 as part of 10 kills against Fisk and compiled an 18 kill, 10-dig effort against host Cumberland.
 
She finished out the weekend with 11 kills on .400 hitting against Ohio Christian. She also had 12 digs against Charleston earlier in the week and served up four aces against Fisk and three in back-to-back matches against Cumberland and Freed-Hardeman.
