INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Kentucky Wesleyan goalkeeper Kathryn Dishion the conferences Women's Soccer Athlete of the Week following her two 1-0 shutout victiores in conference action this past week.

Kathryn Dishion has been named the conferences Women’s Soccer Athlete of the Week after posting a pair of 1-0 shutout victories in conference action to improve to 3-2 in the G-MAC. KWC played host to Davis & Elkins and Alderson Broaddus and came away with wins over both of them needed just one goal and defense to secure the wins.
Against Davis & Elkins, Dishion kept her team in the game with seven saves on 11 shots, holding the Senators scoreless in 90 minutes of play. A couple days later, KWC scored against Alderson Broaddus just 1:25 into the contest and then relied on the play of the defense and Dishion to secure the victory. AB managed four shots, in which Dishion made a pair of saves.
Dishion moved into third in the conference in goals against, allowing eight goals in nine contests (1.09 GAA). He save percentage of 78.9% is fourth in the league, and she ranks fourth in both goals against and saves in conference only action, lowering her GAA to 0.89 and her save percentage to 85.2%
