Erica Huber has been named the G-MAC Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. Huber, who was named Athlete of the Week after the first week of the season, led the conference in both scoring and assists last week as she helped lead the Arrows to a pair of conference wins on the road at Ohio Valley and Salem International.
Huber scored 23 points per game in the two wins, scoring a career-high 24 points against Ohio Valley and falling just short of that total with 22 points against Salem International. She did establish a new mark with a career-high 13 assists against Salem, which also tied the Arrows single game record.
Huber, who totaled 10 rebounds, recorded seven steals over the two games, which was second in the conference over the last week. On the season, Huber ranks seventh in the conference in scoring with 12.4 points per game. She leads the G-MAC with 4.9 assists per game and 73 total assists.
