Breanna Zeis has been named Softball Offensive Athlete of the Week for the second-straight week as she continues to guide the Trojans offense. Last week, Zeis helped guide the Trevecca to a doubleheader sweep of Ursuline and improving to 4-0 in conference play this season. In game one, TNU topped Ursuline 9-1. No player other than Zeis had more than one hit in the game for either team, and in fact she totaled three which was one more hit than the entire Ursuline lineup. In the second game, a tight 6-5 win, Zeis was 2-4 with a home run and a double. Trailing 2-1 in the third, her two-run home run gave the Trojans a slim 3-2 lead after three innings.
In the last two weeks, Zeis has climbed to the top of the conference in hitting .609 over her last seven games, including six multi-hit games (and two games with three hits). She ranks third in hits overall, but has over 20 less at-bats than first (30 hits) and second (26 hits) place. She does lead the conference with 17 runs batted in, 41 total bases, seven doubles, and four home runs, with all of her home runs coming in the last two weeks.

PITCHING AOTW
Haley Kolmerten
Urbana University
Junior - Right-Handed Pitcher
Haley Kolmerten has been named G-MAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second-straight week, and third time this season, winning her only outing this past week. Her 3-2 win over Wayne State improved her to a conference best 8-0 this season in eight starts, and she also posted her seventh-straight complete game.
In her win over Wayne State, Kolmerten scattered five hits and allowed two runs, which tied a season-high for runs allowed for the Blue Knights top pitcher. She continues to lead the conference with a 1.47 earned run average.
Kolmerten had four strikeouts and leads the conference with 75 strikeouts with only ten walks, four coming against Wayne State. The difference in strikeouts to walks (+65 strikeouts) is more total strikeouts than anyone has in the conference, the next best difference in the conference is +43 (Spain-Cedarville: 53-10).
Kolmerten’s win was the 28th of her career, which establishes a new team-record at Urbana in just over two seasons for the junior. As of last week, Kolmerten had helped lead her team to the nation’s lowest earned run average (0.83), which will most likely drop as the team ERA has risen to 1.58, but continues to lead the conference and should remain the top-15 in the country.
Her 8-0 record in eight games pitched ranks 81st in the nation for total wins, however only three players in the nation have more win and a perfect record, the highest being 14-0.
