CEDARVILLE, Ohio - On Saturday afternoon in the Callan Athletic Center on the campus of Cedarville University, the top seeded Yellow Jackets played host to the #3 seed Trevecca Nazarene University Trojans for the inaugural Great Midwest Athletic Conference Men’s Basketball Championship.

Cedarville responded with its third 7-0 run of the game, pushing the lead right back to 11 points with 14:30 remaining in the game. Over the next ten minutes the teams battled back and forth, but the lead for CU remained 11 after a three-pointer by Zach Brown from the right-wing, with under five minutes remaining.

Knowing they needed just a few more buckets to wrap up the G-MAC Championship, Cedarville turned to the long ball hitting a third-straight three-pointer in as many trips down the floor.
