HIGHLIGHT: TNU and Urbana to play for G-MAC title

NASHVILLE - (courtesy of @TNUsports) It comes down to this, Saturday's women's basketball game between Trevecca Nazarene and Urbana. The winner will be able to forever say they won the first-ever Great Midwest Athletic Conference Regular Season Championship. The winner will also host the first G-MAC Tournament on March 7-9. As it stands, Trevecca is 6-1 in the G-MAC with one game to play. Urbana, who handed TNU its only G-MAC loss, is also 6-1 with one game to play.

The title game will be played on Saturday, February 23, 2013 in Nashville on the Trevecca Nazarene University campus. The venue is the Trojan Fieldhouse inside the Mark R. Moore Physical Education Center. The tip is scheduled for 2 p.m. central time.

The game will also serve as Senior Day for the four Treveca seniors: Rachel Raby, Lauren Wasson, Anisssa Ragland, and Heather Miller.

GIVING BACK: The women basketball team will also be presenting a new giving opportunity for the Trojan fan base during the contest. Nehemiahs Restoration, an organization created by Rob Bollinger, the father of Trevecca's Rachel Bollinger, works to serve and help orphans who are afflicted with AIDS. You'll learn more during the basketball games on Saturday.

MEN'S BASKETBALL: The Trevecca men will close out their home schedule on Saturday as well. They have secured the No. 3 seed in the Men's G-MAC Tournament that will be held on March 8-9 at Cedarville University. Trevecca will play the No. 2 seed Central State University in the first round on Friday, March 8.

On Saturday, February 23, the Trojans will play their final regular season G-MAC game against Urbana at 4 p.m. It will be Senior Day for Marquise Rudolph, JP Nyadaro, Maliek Daniels, and Peyton Henry.
