INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Emma Ricketts of Ursuline College the Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week after scoring 17.5 points per game last week.

Emma Ricketts has been named the G-MAC Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week after leading her team and the conference with 17.5 points per game over the holiday week. The Arrows went 1-1 with an overtime win against Lake Erie College.
 
In the team’s victory, Ricketts scored 13 points on 6-10 shooting. She added a team-high five rebounds and had the teams only blocked shot of the game, which came in the final second of overtime. She also posted two steals and an assist from the post.
 
In the Arrows eight-point loss on the road to Malone, Ricketts posted a game-high 22 points on 9-10 shooting. She made both of her three-point attempts and also both of her free throw attempts in an amazing shooting performance. She added a rebound, an assist and a blocked shot to her stat line.
 
Ricketts helped the Arrows build a 13 point lead in the second half (52-39), but Malone closed on a 39-18 run to steal the win. Over that Malone run, she was 4-4 from the floor with a three pointer and a blocked shot.
