INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Makayla Windau of Ursuline College the Women's Volleyball Athlete of the Week after back-to-back double-doubles this past week, to help the Arrows to move to 6-6 and into the fourth spot in the G-MAC standings.

Makayla Windau has been named G-MAC Volleyball Athlete of the Week for the first time this season, after helping guide the Arrows to a pair of wins over the weekend. UC defeated Kentucky Christian and G-MAC opponent Ohio Valley on the road as part of a tri-match. The Arrows improved to 18-14 overall and 6-6 in conference, holding onto the fourth spot in the standings.
Windau recorded a double-double in each match, reaching ten kills and 13 digs in a five set win over Ohio Valley and then 10 kills and 14 digs in a sweep of Kentucky Christian. She also added five service aces over the two matches and a pair of block assists against Kentucky Christian.
On the season, she has improved her season totals as she has earned more time on the court and now is second on the team in kills (185 - 2.15 per set) and third in digs per set (2.38) and climbing.
