INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has named Connor Gilmour of Cedarville University the Men's Soccer Athlete of the Week. Gilour guided his team to three wins, scoring seven times last week.

Connor Gilmour has been named G-MAC Men’s Soccer Athlete of the Week after leading his team to a perfect 3-0 week, including 2-0 in conference. The Yellow Jackets, which currently rank first in the G-MAC at 3-0 and are 7-1-2 overall, defeated Lock Haven to start the week 2-0, then followed it up with a conference win on the road at Ohio Valley, 8-0 and a home win against Shippensburg 4-1 on Saturday.
Gilmour led the conference with seven goals this week and 14 points with four goals against Ohio Valley, two coming in the first half and two more in the second. He followed up his four-goal performance with a hat-trick in the team’s 4-1 win over Shippensburg.
Gilmour scored the first goal of the game in the third minute of the contest and then scored the second goal just over three minutes into the second half to give the team a 2-0 lead. He then capped the games scoring with his third goal in the 86th minute.
Gilmour, who had one goal and three assists coming into the week, now has 19 points on the season and ranks second in points per game, overall points, total goals, and third in goals per game.
