Wagner recorded 13 kills and two blocks in a 3-2 win over visiting Indianapolis, who ranked #27 in the nation. Three days later, she recorded 16 kills and three blocks in a 3-1 win over Wittenberg, who was ranked #13 in the nation at the DIII level. She wrapped up the week with 12 kills in a 3-0 sweep at Central State to improve to 6-1 and keeping pace with Alderson Broaddus and Kentucky Wesleyan for the top spot in the G-MAC.
Wagner’s highlight moment of the week came against UIndy, when the junior recorded her 1,000th career kill, becoming the 19th player in Cedarville history to reach the milestone. This season, she ranks fifth in kills per game, and seventh in blocks per game.
