INDIANAPOLIS - The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced that Britt Bell of Trevecca Nazarene University has been named G-MAC Women's Basketball Athlete of the Week.

For the first time this season, Britt Bell has been named G-MAC Women’s Basketball Athlete of the Week. After leading her team to two wins in conference, first over Cedarville (102-53) and then against Central State (69-60). In the two games last week, Bell scored 14 points and four rebounds in each game.
 
Against Cedarville, Bell recorded a very rare double-double as her 14 points were combined with 10 steals. She shot 4-7 from long range and added five assists, four rebounds, and a block shot to round out her stat line. In the victory over Central State, Bell scored four straight points with five minutes to go in the contest, putting the Trojans up 14 - the team’s largest lead of the game.
 
Bell’s 28 point week, moved her into a tie for the team lead in scoring and she also move into the top-ten in scoring for the conference, averaging 9.7 points per game. She also jumped to second in the conference in steals with 2.4 per game.
