Cedarville, 9-5 overall, enjoyed a 37-20 lead at halftime. After the Trailblazers inched to within 39-26 early in the second period, the hosts ended any thoughts of a tight game by erupting on a 28-8 run.

“While I would not call that a ‘picture perfect performance,’ it was a performance focused on trying to do what we asked,” Head Coach Kirk Martin explained, “and I’m really pleased with that concept.”

The Lady Jackets shot 47 percent from the field and outrebounded OCU, 48-36. They dished out 20 assists on the 28 field goals scored.

Jenerette knocked down a trio of three-pointers to go along with four assists and two steals. Her 23 points came in just 21 minutes of playing time.

Kayla Linkous made her first collegiate start netting 13 points with four steals. Lauryn Robinson tallied a double-double of 10 points and 11 boards while Raegan Ryan dished out nine assists.
