GREENVILLE, S.C. - Ashley Scism of Trevecca Nazarene University has been named the NCCAA Women's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for the week ending April 29, 2012.  

Scism, a 5-foot-2 senior from Nashville, Tenn., won her third TranSouth Championship with scores of 80-75=155.  The Donelson Christian Academy product graduates with virtually every career and season record associated with her name, including the most Medalist honors in program history and low score in a single, two round, and tournament category.

Recipients of the Student-Athlete of the Week are nominated by their respective coaches for both their performance on the field or court as well as for how they exemplify the Christian ideals held by the NCCAA.
